Introducing our Feral Bee Camp. Come for a beekeeping adventure of a lifetime in scenic Monument Valley June 2-3, 2017.
Friday at 3:00 we will be hosting a Feral Bee Adventure, followed by traditional Navajo singing and storytelling along with Navajo Tacos.
Bring a tent or RV to camp at Mustang Valley Campground overnight, then wake up, prepare breakfast on your own and take in a few sights before we start the beekeeping at 10:00 am.
Over the two days, we will visit a Uranium mine phytoremediation site at theTsis’Na Bighan Bee Project, have a tent classroom presentation, do some beelining to find feral bees, and look in hives and talk about sustainable beekeeping.
Bring food and plenty of water for Saturday, plus your bee suit and sturdy walking shoes.
