This course series will help you go from “New-bee” to expert. No beekeeping experience required, just a desire to learn about keeping honey bees.
- We assume you will keep European honey bees.
- The material in this class applies best to temperate regions with a winter season, but can be adapted to other climates.
- You will have most success as a new beekeeper if you keep bees in a Langstroth hive, but you can adapt these courses to fit other hive styles. (Top Bar, Warré, and other Hives are considered “Intermediate” hives.)
