How to Make Onion Soup Mix from the Homestead Garden

One of my favorite ways to use herbs from our homestead garden is by making spice mixes.

I love to use onion soup mix to make a veggie dip that my kids love. And it’s super easy. Just mix ¼ cup of the spice blend with 1 cup of sour cream. It is a hit EVERY TIME.

Homemade Onion Soup Mix

Ingredients

• 5T Dried Diced Onion
• 1T Garlic Powder
• 1T Dride Parsley
• 1T Salt
• ½t Basil
• ½t Black Pepper

Directions

1. Add all ingredients to a spice container and shake well.
2. Add ¼ cup mix to 1 cup sour cream for a delicious dip.
