Go Honey on the Appalachian Trail

At the end-of-day tomorrow I’ll be starting a 2-week hiking trip on the Appalachian Trail.  I’m carrying plenty of the Go Honey product and will eventually send you a picture or two.  I’ll be carrying 2-weeks worth of food – NO food resupply on the trail – so honey will be one of my main calorie sources, especially during the day because I typically don’t stop for lunch.  I eat on the fly.  This is a training hike for a trip I’m taking to the Grand Canyon.  That trip I’ll rely almost exclusively on high-calorie food because of the short timeframe – 4 days – and my desire to cut down on weight to an absolute minimum.

Looking forward to trying these out in the field.
